This looks like a volcanic eruption but is actually a cloud illuminated by the red sunrise, aligned vertically to me.

Incoming Squall

One side of a coming squall.  The wind was howling and behind this cloud is heavy rain which after hitting this place lasted only for 20 minutes.

I went into the garden, just looking for something to shoot. It was late afternoon, the colors were glorious, saw this hopper on a pandan leaf, got into macro mode, went closer, insect didn't hopped, still got closer and jabbed.
